This is your last chance today to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and you're thinking that someone will turn your back in to the lost and found. You get into the elevator car and ascend up the Eiffel Tower. As you go farther and farther up, you can see more and more of Paris. The elevator stops and you get out. You're at the top of the Eiffel Tower! You walk around and enjoy the panoramic views. You stay a while, looking down on famous Parisian structures and watching Parisian life unfold. You decide to get back on the elevator and descend back to earth. On the way down, you begin to wonder what has become of your backpack.
As you reach the bottom of the Eiffel Tower, the doors to the elevator open, and you run to where your back pack was. It's not there! You walk up to a ticket window, but its closed for the day. Fortunately, you get the attention of an employee inside and simply say "sac
à dos" which means backpack in French. They tell you that there has not been any back pack turned in. Your backpack has been stolen and it had all of your money and your passport in it. You won't be able to get home without your passport. Looks like your going to be in Paris for a long time.
